Severe storms possible this afternoon

There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon over Southwest Lower Michigan. The greatest risk is southeast of a Mount Pleasant to St. Joseph line. The greatest threats are damaging thunderstorm wind gusts of at least 60 mph and hail greater than 1 inch in diameter. The severe weather threat is expected to move into Southeastern Lower Michigan and the Ohio Valley during the evening hours.
