A slight risk for severe thunderstorms exists across southern Lower Michigan today, generally along and south of Interstate 94. Scattered thunderstorms will continue along a cold front and intensify as they move south this afternoon with some storms becoming strong and possibly severe. Damaging winds and hail to one inch in diameter are the main threats with these storms. If you are going to be outside today, keep tabs on the weather.
