November One of the Driest on Record

 

After a very wet October, November 2012 ended up being one of the driest Novembers on record in southwest Michigan since record keeping began over 100 years ago. It ranked in the top three for the climatological sites we closely track and have a reliable/lengthy database dating back to the late 1800s. This includes Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Muskegon. Below are tables showing the top five driest Novembers for each site.
