Unusually mild temperatures are forecast today, with highs climbing into the 60s in most locations (with mainly upper 50s for central Lower Michigan).  A center of low pressure will be passing north of the U.S. / Canadian border this afternoon and evening, helping to surge warm air very far north for this time of year.  Below are the forecast highs for today for our three primary climate locations, and the associated records for today.

In addition, showers and thunderstorms are likely tonight as a cold front moves through.  Some thunderstorms could potentially contain strong wind gusts.  Highs tomorrow will return to the upper 40s and lower 50s.
