Southwest winds will be on the increase today as a low pressure system tracks eastward through Ontario. The strongest winds will be on the lake shore where gusts to 45 mph will be possible. The timeframe for the higher wind speeds will be from 1 pm to 5 pm.

High profile vehicles may have difficulty travelling through this region and there may be some scattered power outages.
