Snowfall amounts through this evening have been the highest across west central Lower Michigan, where 3 to 7 inches has already fallen.  Here is what to expect heading into tonight and the overnight hours:

• Additional accumulations of 3 to 6 inches along and north of I-96.  Some locations may pick up over 6 inches across central Lower Michigan.
• 1 to 3 inches of total snowfall expected for the I-94 region with some higher amounts north of I-94 and closer to I-96
• Friday morning commute will be difficult where significant snow has fallen
