Frost/Freeze Season Begins

It took a while for Spring to show up this year, but warmer weather arrived around May 1st and has continued through May 10th. The growing season is underway in southwest Lower Michigan and the National Weather Service will be issuing frost advisories and freeze warnings from now through the end of the growing season. A shot of cold air has spilled into Lower Michigan and will hang around through Monday morning. A freeze warning has been issued for temperatures that could potentially be damaging to vegetation Sunday night and into Monday morning. For more information click here.
