Severe Weather Possible Friday and Saturday

The Storm Prediction Center has placed much of Southwest Michigan in the Slight Risk area for severe weather for both Today and Saturday.  Damaging winds and large hail are the primary hazards.  An elevated risk for tornadoes will exist.  Also locally heavy rain and frequent lightning will accompany the stronger storms.  The main storm motion will be northeast rather quickly at a around 40 mph.
