From 3 to 4 inches of rain fell in parts of Barry and Ingham Counties Friday night and more rain can be expected across Southwest Lower Michigan through Sunday. Unusually deep moisture in place over the Great Lakes means that flooding is the primary threat as rainfall rates are expected to be very high with thunderstorms. Damaging winds are a secondary threat with brief, isolated tornadoes possible late Saturday afternoon through Sunday.
