A storm system moved across the region Tuesday night with accumulating snow affecting much of central Kansas. The storm system pulled colder air into the region which caused the rain to change over to snow late in the afternoon and evening. The snow begin to accumulate overnight across the region as temperatures dropped to around freezing. As a result roadways became slick overnight as temperatures dropped below freezing allowing snow to stick on the roads. |
