Severe Weather Seminar March 1st - Space is Limited, so Register Today!

The Central Illinois Weather Net - which is a group of Emergency Management Agencies in the NWS Lincoln 35 county warning area - will be hosting a Severe Weather Seminar on March 1st at the Ashland House Best Western and Conference Center in Morton, IL. The all day conference is OPEN to anyone with an interest in weather or severe storms!

Featured speakers will include:

  • National Weather Service and Tazewell County EMA presenting information about the November 17, 2013 Tornado Outbreak
  • Advanced Spotter Training
  • Special Guest speaker Marcus Bailey, from WMBD-TV in Peoria, IL
  • ...and much more!!

There will be door prizes the day of the seminar, as well as T-shirts for those that register by February 20th. Registration is $35 per person (which includes breakfast and the all-day conference from 8 am to 4 pm - lunch is on your own at the numerous restaurants nearby).
