Multiple weather hazards are possible across central and southeast Illinois today. Recent and ongoing snow melt will combine with locally heavy rainfall to produce a flood risk. Finally, very strong winds are expected late this afternoon and tonight as today's storm system departs. The strong winds expected have prompted the issuance of a High Wind Warning for most of central Illinois, and issuance of a Wind Advisory for most of southeast Illinois, which are in effect from 3 PM this afternoon to 3 AM tonight.
