Severe Storms & Heavy Rain Possible Late Tonight into Wednesday

A complex of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected to track east-southeast across central and southeast Illinois late tonight into Wednesday morning. The primary threats with these fast moving thunderstorms will be damaging wind gusts and very heavy rainfall. Additional strong to severe storms are possible Wednesday afternoon, mainly across east central and southeast Illinois. Remain alert for later forecasts, as well as possible watches and warnings, as the system gets closer to the region.
