Images of the Dec. 18-19 Ice Storm

The ice storm that struck central Illinois from the evening of December 18th through the early morning of December 19th caused damage to trees and  power lines, leaving more than 30,000 electric customers without power.

The areas that experienced the biggest impact were north of a line from Beardstown through Lincoln to Clinton - which included Galesburg, the Peoria Metro area, and Bloomington/Normal.

The images below illustrate the devastating impacts of an ice storm.
