Central/Southeast Illinois River Flooding

The showers and thunderstorms that moved across portions of Illinois on Wednesday (May 13th) as well as Friday (May 15th) have caused flooding in area rivers across portions of central and southeast Illinois. The most significant flooding was seen along the Spoon and Illinois Rivers. Look below for additional flood information for your area.

Rainfall totals from both precipitation events ranged from 3 to 5 inches in many areas. Precipitation maps and totals are also available below.
