June 18th Storm Reports

An intense line of severe thunderstorms produced wind gusts of 60 to 85 mph, large hail, torrential rainfall and nearly continuous lightning in much of west central, central and eastern Illinois early in the morning of June 18th - from 4:00 AM until 8:30 AM. The high wind resulted in multiple power outages, downed trees and power lines, and damage to light poles, outbuildings and several homes. Additionally, large hail was reported in Stark and Marshall counties between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
