Daily Record Snowfall at Indianapolis

On February 13, 2007, snowfall in Indianapolis was measured at 7.4 inches from midnight to midnight. This was enough snow to break the daily record for most snow ever recorded on February 13. The previous record was 4.5 inches in 1913.

This 7.4 inches was part of a three day total of 8.5 inches for the whole storm. This was the heaviest three day snow total recorded in the Indianapolis area since 9.3 inches on February 22-24, 2003.

So far, February 2007 has recorded 13.8 inches of snowfall. This makes it the 12th snowiest February ever. A normal February sees 6.1 inches of snow in Indianapolis.
