Coldest Easter in 32 Years

The high temperature at Indianapolis reached only 38 degrees on Easter Sunday, April 8th, 2007.  This ties Easter 2007 for the fifth coldest maximum temperature on record, and makes it the coldest Easter Sunday at Indianapolis since 1975, when the high temperature reached only 34 degrees.

This compares to the normal Easter Sunday maximum temperature of 61 degrees, over the period of record.  Temperature records began at Indianapolis in 1871.
