El Nino Returns

El Niño Returns

El Niño Conditions have developed in the Tropical Pacific Ocean, the Climate Prediction Center stated in a release issued last week. These conditions are expected to continue through early 2007. Currently, this El Niño is classified as a weak event, but there are indications this event may strengthen into a moderate event by this winter.
