Will this Christmas be a white one?

The forecast for Christmas Day 2007 does not call for snow to fall in Central Indiana. This would make it the first Christmas since 2000 that Indianapolis has not seen at least a trace of snowfall on Christmas Day.

The forecast high temperature for Indianapolis this Christmas Day is 46 degrees. The last time it has been that warm on Christmas in Indianapolis was back in 1994 when it was 47 degrees for a high. The warmest Christmas ever in Indianapolis was way back in 1893, when a balmy high of 64 degrees was recorded.

Historically speaking,  Indianapolis has a 56% chance of having snow on the ground on Christmas Day.
