Severe thunderstorms moved across Carroll County during the early morning hours of June 6. One storm produced two tornadoes, one on the west side of the county near Yeoman, the other touched down on the county's east side near State Road 218 and State Road 29.

In the Storm Relative Velocity images, green colors represent winds blowing toward the radar, and red colors indicate winds blowing away from the radar. The bright green and bright red pixels adjacent to each other in the velocity data represent the core of the storm's circulation that produced the tornadoes.
