9:30 PM - Total at the NWS is now 4.2 inches with blowing snow.
7:00 PM - Total at the NWS is now 4.1 inches with some blowing snow.
1:00 PM - Total at the NWS is 3.5 inches. Blowing and drifting snow reports are now being received across southwest parts of Central Indiana, including Vincennes and near Washington.
11:05 AM - Total at the NWS is now 3.1 inches
11:00 AM...the heaviest snow has pushed north and east of Indy...impacting the Muncie and New Castle areas. Below are pictures taken at our office a little after 10:00 AM (click to enlarge):
10:05 AM...up to 2.6 inches here at the office.
9:30 AM...Band of heavier snow will be moving across the Indy metro area in the next hour...and then continue to move northeast across Central Indiana.
8:59 AM...Here at the office...1.5 inches total so far
8:45 AM...An off-duty NWS employee reports 2.5 inches of snow in Morgan county, with snow quickly accumulating at the time.
8:33 AM...Receiving reports of slide-offs on roads across Central Indiana. If traveling...be sure to slow down and allow plenty of time to reach your destination. Here at the office, the size of the snowflakes have increased. Our latest snow reports will appear in the window below.
7:56 AM...Snow continues to fall across all of Central Indiana, with a winter weather advisory in effect until 7:00 PM. Here at the office near the Indy airport, we are just under an inch.
