Through February 14, 2011, the Indianapolis Area has had 25 consecutive days with a snow depth of at least one inch. This stands as 9th place in the ranking of most consecutive days with at least an inch of snow on the ground:

Snow measurements are taken at 7:00 AM. Ninth place was originally set just 4 years ago, but 2007 now falls to 10th place.  Also, since the beginning of December 2010, the Indianapolis Area has had at least a trace of snow on the ground all but 8 days!
