1115 PM - Heaviest of the freezing rain with some sleet mixing in now located from southern Johnson Couty south through Jackson County east into Decatur, Jennings and southern Shelby counties. This area of freezing rain will move east out of central Indiana between 12 and 1230 AM.  Freezing rain and drizzle becoming more scattered further to the west.

1030 PM - Heavier pocket of freezing rain from Bloomington and Bedford east through Columbus, Seymour and Greensburg. Radar suggesting that there may be some sleet mixing in with the freezing rain as well. Receiving numerous reports of 0.10 to 0.15 inches of ice accumulation in these counties with icy roads and treacherous travel conditions. Precipitation will become lighter and more scattered behind this area of freezing rain.

1007 PM - Snow is mixing in with the sleet now in the Fishers area.

955 PM - Receiving increasing reports of sleet mixing in with the freezing rain from the north and east side of Indy east through Henry County.

942 PM - A mixture of freezing rain and sleet continues to fall here at NWS Indianapolis. 

932 PM - Report from Edinburgh of slick roadways and a tenth of an inch of ice accumulation so far.  Roads extremely slick, caller hearing of numerous accidents in Bartholomew County and the Columbus area.

919 PM - Report that precipitation switched over from freezing rain to sleet in Sheridan in NW Hamilton County. This is right in the vicinity of the heavier band of snow and sleet that has impacted the northern portions of central Indiana for the last two hours.

901 PM - Receiving reports of numerous accidents and icy roads across central Indiana. Many individuals are reporting that roads and bridges have a very thin glaze of ice and precipitation is freezing immediately on contact with surfaces.

839 PM - Caller from near I-65 and Southport Road indicating roads becoming slick quickly.

835 PM - Light to moderate snow with intermittent sleet mixed in continuing to fall in a band from Warren Co east through Lafayette and Kokomo. Precipitation falling mainly in the form of freezing rain south of a Crawfordsville to Indianapolis to Brownstown line. This area of freezing rain will expand across east central Indiana through 930 PM. Ice accumulations will remain generally at or below 0.10 inches through 11 PM.  However...this will still cause very slick and treacherous roadways this evening.  

830 PM - Light freezing rain being reported in Sheridan.

823 PM - Light Freezing Rain and sleet has begun to fall here at NWS Indianapolis.

820 PM - Monroe County Sheriffs office is reporting solid ice on county roads with numerous accidents.

810 PM - Freezing rain rapidly expanding into the Indianapolis metro area.  Have reports of slick roads and slide offs across southwest Indiana since 715 PM.
