Highest River Levels in Nearly Two Years

The highest and most extensive river flooding in nearly 2 years was approaching its apex in southwest Indiana on Friday.  The crest on the White River was in the Edwardsport area and the crest on the East Fork White River was in the Bedford area.  Lesser flooding continued on the Wabash River with the crest nearing Mt. Carmel Illinois.  All rivers will be falling by Monday.

Flood levels will fall rather quickly after crest passage.  Flooding will end the week of January 20 along all rivers except for portions of the Wabash.
