Below are the maps depicting the damage tracks of the tornadoes confirmed in Branch County Michigan from the severe weather that moved through the county the evening of July 22nd. Further information concerning the individual tornadoes can be found at the bottom of this page.

...UPDATED INFORMATION ON EF0 TORNADO IN BRANCH COUNTY
MICHIGAN...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AND THE BRANCH COUNTY EMERGENCY
MANAGEMENT AGENCY HAVE DETERMINED THAT AN EF0 TORNADO OCCURRED
THURSDAY EVENING IN BRANCH COUNTY MICHIGAN.

THE EF0 TORNADO FIRST TOUCHED DOWN BRIEFLY JUST SOUTH OF THE
INTERSECTION AT BEHNKE AND FENN ROADS. DAMAGE PATH WAS 40 YARDS
WIDE AND 50 YARDS IN LENGTH. THE TORNADO QUICKLY LIFTED AND
SKIPPED TO THE EAST WHERE IT TOUCHED DOWN AGAIN ON THE SOUTH SIDE
OF FENN ROAD NEAR SANFORD ROAD. A SMALL CHICKEN COOP HERE WAS
DESTROYED. A LARGE BARN...SILO...HOUSE AND GARDEN ALSO SUSTAINED
DAMAGE. CHUNKS OF BARK WAS STRIPPED FROM A PEAR TREE AT THIS
LOCATION AS WELL. DAMAGE PATH HERE WAS 75 YARDS WIDE AND 300 YARDS
IN LENGTH.

THE TORNADO LIFTED AGAIN BUT BRIEFLY TOUCHED DOWN A THIRD TIME IN
A CORNFIELD ON THE NORTH SIDE OF FENN ROAD NEAR FILLMORE ROAD. THE
CORN WAS PUSHED OVER AND TWISTED IN A PATTERN INDICATING
CIRCULATION. THE DAMAGE PATH HERE WAS 200 YARDS WIDE AND 300 YARDS
IN LENGTH.

ALL OF THE DAMAGE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS TORNADO WAS CONSISTENT
WITH WINDS OF 65 TO 85 MPH...WHICH IS AN EF0 ON THE ENHANCED
FUJITA DAMAGE SCALE.
