Morehead State University has been declared a StormReady® University by the National Weather Service.
Becoming StormReady® is an important step in ensuring the safety of students and staff at the university before, during and after severe weather strikes. The StormReady program, which started in 1999 in Tulsa, OK, helps arm America's communities with the communication and safety skills needed to save lives and property, before and during a severe weather event. No community is storm proof, but StormReady® can help communities and universities save lives.
