EVEN THOUGH MUCH OF FEBRUARY WAS CHILLY...BOTH THE JACKSON WEATHER
OFFICE...AND THE LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT FINISHED UP SLIGHTLY WARMER
THAN NORMAL LAST MONTH. THANKS IN LARGE PART TO SOME UNSEASONABLY
WARM DAYS IN EARLY FEBRUARY...JACKSON ENDED UP A LITTLE MORE THAN A
HALF A DEGREE ABOVE NORMAL...WHILE LONDON WAS OVER A DEGREE AND A
HALF WARMER. ON THE PRECIPITATION SIDE OF THE FENCE...LONDON AND
JACKSON ENDED LAST MONTH DRIER THAN NORMAL. WHILE THE LONDON CORBIN
AIRPORT FINISHED UP OVER AN INCH DRIER THAN NORMAL...THE JACKSON
WEATHER OFFICE WAS ONLY AROUND A QUARTER OF AN INCH BELOW NORMAL.

THE END OF FEBRUARY ALSO MARKED THE END OF METEOROLOGICAL WINTER.
OVER THE MONTHS OF DECEMBER...JANUARY AND FEBRUARY...THE JACKSON
WEATHER OFFICE AVERAGED 38.7 DEGREES...WHICH IS 2.0 DEGREES ABOVE
