BETWEEN UNSEASONABLY WARM READINGS AT THE BEGINNING AND ENDING OF
APRIL. THE LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT RECORDED ITS COLDEST APRIL
TEMPERATURE WITH A READING OF 19 DEGREES. THE JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE
WAS ONLY ONE DEGREE AWAY FROM TYING THE CHILLIEST APRIL TEMPERATURE
WITH A READING OF 21 DEGREES. IN FACT...BOTH JACKSON AND LONDON SAW
A RUN OF 6 DAYS IN A ROW WHEN THE MERCURY DIPPED TO 32 DEGREES OR
LOWER. THANKS TO THE BALANCE OF WARM READINGS AT THE BEGINNING AND
ENDING OF APRIL...JACKSON ONLY ENDED UP A LITTLE OVER A DEGREE AND A
HALF COOLER THAN NORMAL. THE SEVERE WEATHER OF APRIL 3RD KNOCKED THE
LONDON AUTOMATED SURFACE OBSERVING SYSTEM OFFLINE FOR A COUPLE OF
