EF1 Tornado Confirmed in Fleming County on April 26th

A National Weather Service storm survey team determined that an EF1 tornado touched down on the evening of April 26th, 2007, in Fleming County. The tornado had maximum wind speeds of 105 mph, and touched down 3 miles west of Hillsboro at approximately 7:49 PM. The path length was 3 miles long, and the width was 200 yards. 3 barns were destroyed, and a concrete silo was blown over. Numerous trees were also snapped along the path.
