FINISHED UP JUNE OVER TWO DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. IN FACT...BOTH
LOCATIONS SAW JUNE 2007 FINISH IN THE TOP 10 OF WARMEST JUNES EVER.
EASTERN KENTUCKY CONTINUED TO BE PLAGUED BY BELOW NORMAL
PRECIPITATION. JACKSON WAS AROUND TWO AND A HALF INCHES DRIER THAN
NORMAL...WHILE LONDON WAS ONLY ABOUT THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH BELOW
NORMAL FOR JUNE. ALSO OF NOTE...JUNE 2007 TIED AS THE FOURTH DRIEST
JUNE AT JACKSON.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE NEAR JACKSON FINISHED JUNE 2007
WITH AN AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 73.7 DEGREES...WHICH IS 2.3 DEGREES
ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 71.4 DEGREES. THE AVERAGE DAILY HIGH WAS 84.2
DEGREES...AND THE AVERAGE DAILY LOW WAS 63.2 DEGREES. THE HIGHEST
TEMPERATURE FOR JUNE 2007 WAS 94 DEGREES AND OCCURRED ON THE
18TH...AND ALSO ESTABLISHED A NEW DAILY HIGH RECORD. HIGH
TEMPERATURE RECORDS WERE TIED ON THE 1ST AND 17TH...WITH READINGS OF
