Flooding Rainfall Across the Bluegrass State...

A powerful storm system over the Upper Midwest brought a deluge of rainfall to the Bluegrass state overnight Friday night and early Saturday morning.  While the heaviest rainfall in eastern Kentucky remained generally along and to the north of the Mountain Parkway where several reports of Flash Flooding were received, additional flooding was reporting in London as well.

AND HWY 36 IN SHARPSBURG UNDER WATER. BOTH HIGHWAYS
IMPASSIBLE. EVENTS BEGAN WITH FLOODING OF HIGHWAYS AT
