FINISHED LAST MONTH WITH COOLER THAN NORMAL TEMPERATURES...AND
WETTER THAN NORMAL CONDITIONS. JACKSON WAS AROUND ONE DEGREE BELOW
NORMAL TEMPERATUREWISE...WHILE LONDON WAS A HALF A DEGREE COOLER. ON
THE PRECIPITATION SIDE OF THE FENCE...JACKSON ENDED JULY 2008 A
LITTLE OVER AN INCH AND A HALF ABOVE NORMAL...WITH LONDON AROUND
FOUR TENTHS WETTER. IN FACT...LAST MONTH WAS THE WETTEST MONTH AT
BOTH LOCATIONS SINCE SEPTEMBER 2006. ALSO OF NOTE...JULY WAS ONLY
THE SECOND MONTH THIS YEAR THAT HAS SEEN ABOVE NORMAL PRECIPITATION
AT BOTH LOCATIONS. THE LAST MONTH THAT COOLER AND WETTER CONDITIONS
WERE NOTED AT JACKSON WAS OCTOBER 2006...WHILE THE LAST OCCURRENCE
AT LONDON WAS JUST LAST NOVEMBER.

WITH AN AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 73.9 DEGREES...WHICH IS 1.1 DEGREES
BELOW THE NORMAL OF 75.0 DEGREES. THE AVERAGE DAILY HIGH WAS 83.5
DEGREES...AND THE AVERAGE DAILY LOW WAS 64.2 DEGREES. LAST MONTH WAS
THE 7TH COOLEST JULY ON RECORD SINCE 1981. THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE
