BRING FREEZING TEMPERATURES. IN FACT...SEVERAL LOCATIONS ACROSS
EASTERN KENTUCKY SAW TEMPERATURES DIP INTO THE 30S THIS MORNING.
WITH FEWER CLOUDS EXPECTED TONIGHT...MORE LOCATIONS WILL EXPERIENCE
READINGS IN THE 30S...WITH SOME AREAS POSSIBLY SEEING FROST. IT WILL
NOT BE TOO LONG BEFORE WIDESPREAD FREEZING TEMPERATURES WILL ARRIVE
IN THE COAL FIELDS.

ACROSS EASTERN KENTUCKY...THE MEDIAN DATE FOR DROPPING TO 32 DEGREES
GENERALLY OCCURS AROUND THE MIDDLE TO LATTER PART OF OCTOBER.
ALTHOUGH SHELTERED VALLEY LOCATIONS GENERALLY SEE 32 DEGREES A WEEK
OR SO EARLIER ON AVERAGE. FOR READINGS OF 28 DEGREES...THIS
TYPICALLY OCCURS IN LATE OCTOBER AND EARLY NOVEMBER.
