LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT ENDED UP ABOVE NORMAL THANKS TO A LATE RUN OF
WARM TEMPERATURES. JACKSON WAS A DEGREE AND A HALF WARMER THAN
NORMAL...WHILE LONDON WAS NEARLY A DEGREE ABOVE NORMAL. THIS PATCH
OF UNSEASONABLY WARM LATE APRIL WEATHER FEATURED SEVERAL BROKEN
RECORDS AT BOTH JACKSON AND LONDON. FURTHERMORE...THE JACKSON
WEATHER OFFICE HIT 90 DEGREES ON APRIL 24TH. THIS IS THE EARLIEST
DATE THAT JACKSON HAS SEEN A TEMPERATURE OF 90 DEGREES OR ABOVE. ON
THE PRECIPITATION SIDE OF THE FENCE...BOTH LOCATIONS FELL A LITTLE
SHORT OF NORMAL. JACKSON WAS OVER A TENTH OF AN INCH BELOW
NORMAL...WHILE LONDON ENDED APRIL AROUND A QUARTER OF AN INCH DRIER.
JACKSON ALSO RECEIVED 2.1 INCHES OF SNOW...WHICH MADE APRIL
2009...THE THIRD SNOWIEST APRIL ON RECORD.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE NEAR JACKSON FINISHED APRIL
2009 WITH AN AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 57.9 DEGREES...WHICH IS 1.6
