OFFICE AND THE LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT FINISHED MAY 2009 MUCH WETTER
THAN NORMAL. JACKSON AND LONDON ENDED LAST MONTH OVER FOUR INCHES
ABOVE NORMAL. IN FACT...MAY 2009 WAS THE WETTEST MONTH AT BOTH
LOCATIONS SINCE MAY OF 2004. ADDITIONALLY...MEASURABLE RAINFALL WAS
RECEIVED ON THE FIRST NINE DAYS OF THE MONTH AT THE JACKSON WEATHER
OFFICE AND THE LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT. LONDON MEASURED AT LEAST 0.03
INCHES DAILY FROM MAY 1ST THROUGH THE 9TH...GOOD ENOUGH TO TIE THREE
OTHER 9 DAY RUNS OF 0.03 INCHES OR MORE. THE JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE
TOTALED AT LEAST 0.14 INCHES EACH DAY THROUGH MAY 9TH. THIS 9 DAY
STREAK EASILY OUTDISTANCED THE 7 DAY RUN OF AT LEAST 0.14 INCHES

MARCH...APRIL AND MAY. THIS TOTAL IS 4.19 INCHES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF
13.31 INCHES. THIS AMOUNT MADE SPRING 2009 THE 6TH WETTEST SPRING AT
LONDON. ON THE TEMPERATURE SIDE OF THE FENCE...THE JACKSON WEATHER
OFFICE AVERAGED 57.3 DEGREES...WHICH IS 1.5 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL
OF 55.8 DEGREES. THE LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT ENDED SPRING WITH AN
AVERAGE OF 56.8 DEGREES...WHICH IS 1.2 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF
55.6 DEGREES. SPRING 2009 TIED FOR THE 11TH WARMEST SPRING AT
