EF1 Tornado hits Morgan County on Sunday

 A NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE STORM SURVEY CONCLUDED THAT A TORNADO
TOUCHED DOWN IN MORGAN COUNTY...AT APPROXIMATELY 655 PM JUNE 14TH
ABOUT 1.5 MILES NORTHWEST OF RELIEF. THE PATH LENGTH WAS 1.5 MILES
LONG...WITH A WIDTH OF 75 YARDS. THE TWISTER LIFTED SHORTLY AFTER
CROSSING INTO JOHNSON COUNTY ALONG HIGHWAY 1614. THE
TORNADO...WITH WINDS OF 90-95 MPH...WAS RATED AN EF1 ON THE ENHANCED
FUJITA SCALE. DOZENS OF TREES WERE DAMAGED WITH NUMEROUS TREES
SNAPPED OR UPROOTED.
