Observed Snowfall this Winter at NWS Jackson Already Above the Winter Season Average

Snowfall at the National Weather Service in Jackson thus far this winter has now eclipsed the average snowfall for a winter season.  Through midnight January 8th, 24.9" of snow has fallen at the weather office.  The normal snowfall for an entire winter season at NWS Jackson is 24.5".  This marks the second consecutive winter season with above average snowfall at NWS Jackson.
