MARCH 2010 WAS THE SECOND MONTH IN A ROW THAT THE JACKSON WEATHER
OFFICE AND THE LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT SAW BELOW NORMAL PRECIPITATION
TOTALS. IN FACT...LAST MONTH WAS MUCH DRIER THAN NORMAL...WITH
JACKSON ENDING UP CLOSE TO TWO INCHES DRIER...AND LONDON NEARLY TWO
AND A QUARTER INCHES BELOW NORMAL. TEMPERATURES WERE A DIFFERENT
STORY AT BOTH LOCATIONS LAST MONTH. WHILE THE JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE
FINISHED MARCH 2010 NEARLY THREE QUARTERS OF A DEGREE ABOVE
NORMAL...THE LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT ENDED UP BEING A DEGREE AND A
HALF COOLER.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE NEAR JACKSON FINISHED MARCH 2010
WITH AN AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 47.8 DEGREES...WHICH IS 0.7 DEGREES
ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 47.1 DEGREES. THE AVERAGE DAILY HIGH WAS 56.7
DEGREES...AND THE AVERAGE DAILY LOW WAS 38.8 DEGREES. THE HIGHEST
TEMPERATURE FOR MARCH 2010 WAS 74 DEGREES...WHICH OCCURRED ON THE
31ST. THE LOWEST TEMPERATURE FROM MARCH WAS 25 DEGREES ON THE 6TH.
