...CONFIRMED EF2 TORNADO IN WAYNE COUNTY...

A TEAM...COMPRISED OF PERSONNEL FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
AND WAYNE COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT...SURVEYED DAMAGE IN AN AREA
ONE MILE SOUTH OF BETSEY IN NORTHEAST WAYNE COUNTY. BASED ON THEIR
FINDINGS...IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE DAMAGE WAS CAUSED BY AN EF2
TORNADO.

TIME OF TOUCHDOWN...425 PM EDT MAY 2ND 2010

PATH LENGTH...1/4 MILE

TORNADO WIDTH...100 YARDS

DAMAGE...NUMEROUS TREES DOWNED. ALSO...PART OF ROOF BLOWN OFF OF
BRICK HOME...AND THE CORNER OF AN OUTSIDE WALL COLLAPSED.

ESTIMATED WIND SPEED...110 TO 120 MPH
