JULY 2010 EXACTLY A DEGREE AND A HALF WARMER THAN NORMAL. LAST MONTH
WAS MUCH WARMER THAN JULY OF 2009...BOTH LOCATIONS WERE OVER FIVE
DEGREES WARMER THAN LAST JULY. JACKSON AND LONDON ALSO SAW LAST
MONTH/S TEMPERATURES RANK JUST OUTSIDE OF THE TOP TEN...WITH LONDON
TYING FOR 12TH WARMEST JULY...WHILE JULY 2010 WAS JACKSON/S 11TH
WARMEST JULY. THE SIMILARITIES ENDED THERE...BECAUSE BOTH STATIONS
WERE QUITE DIFFERENT ON THE PRECIPITATION SIDE OF THE FENCE. THE
LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT ENDED LAST MONTH NEARLY A QUARTER OF AN INCH
WETTER THAN NORMAL...WHILE THE JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE WAS AN INCH
AND A QUARTER DRIER. IN FACT...JULY 2010 WAS JACKSON/S 7TH DRIEST
JULY OF ALL TIME.
