THE JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE AND THE LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT BOTH
ESTABLISHED NEW MONTHLY PRECIPITATION RECORDS FOR APRIL. JACKSON
ACCUMULATED 10.20 INCHES...WHICH IS NEARLY SIX AND A HALF INCHES
ABOVE NORMAL. AT LONDON...THE RAINFALL TOTAL FOR LAST MONTH WAS
10.23 INCHES...ALMOST SIX AND A QUARTER INCHES WETTER THAN NORMAL.
IN ADDITION TO BEING THE WETTEST APRIL AT BOTH LOCATIONS...JACKSON
AND LONDON SAW LAST MONTH PLACE IN THE TOP TEN WETTEST MONTHS OF ALL
TIME. APRIL 2011 WAS THE 4TH WETTEST MONTH EVER AT JACKSON AND THE
6TH WETTEST MONTH OF ALL TIME AT LONDON. ON THE TEMPERATURE SIDE OF
THE FENCE...JACKSON AND LONDON WERE BOTH WARMER THAN NORMAL. THE
JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE FINISHED LAST MONTH OVER FOUR DEGREES WARMER
THAN NORMAL...WHILE THE LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT ENDED APRIL 2011 THREE
AND A HALF DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. OF FURTHER INTEREST...IT WAS THE
7TH WARMEST APRIL AT JACKSON...AND THE 9TH WARMEST APRIL AT LONDON.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE NEAR JACKSON FINISHED APRIL
2011 WITH AN AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 60.5 DEGREES...WHICH IS 4.2
DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 56.3 DEGREES. THE AVERAGE DAILY HIGH WAS
71.9 DEGREES...AND THE AVERAGE DAILY LOW WAS 49.1 DEGREES. APRIL
