Jenny Wiley State Resort Park is Now StormReady®

Officials from the National Weather Service present StormReady® certificate and signs to Jenny Wiley State Park staff and Kentucky Department of Parks Commissioner Gerry van der Meer (2nd from left).

Representatives from the NOAA National Weather Service Office in Jackson, Kentucky presented the StormReady® Supporter Designation to Kentucky's Jenny Wiley State Resort Park at a ceremony in the Conference Center at Jenny Wiley State Resort Park, Tuesday, November 29th.  Jenny Wiley is the 5th State Park in Kentucky to earn this designation and only the 5th State Park in the Country to be designated a StormReady® Supporter by the National Weather Service.

Congratulations to the staff of Jenny Wiley State Resort Park for their work on making the park StormReady®!
