A storm system which tracked across the Deep South from late Saturday night February 18, 2012 through Sunday night February 19, 2012, brought several inches of heavy, wet snow to southeast Kentucky.

Below is a graphical depiction of snowfall reports received by the National Weather Service in Jackson. The southerly storm track kept the accumulating snow confined to locations mainly along and to the south of the Mountain Parkway.
