AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS OF MUCH WARMER THAN NORMAL TEMPERATURES...THE
JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE AND THE LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT SAW READINGS
MUCH CLOSER TO NORMAL. JACKSON ENDED UP JUST TWO TENTHS OF A DEGREE
ABOVE NORMAL...WHILE LONDON WAS NEARLY A HALF A DEGREE WARMER. IN
FACT...JACKSON AND LONDON WERE COOLER LAST MONTH THAN MARCH. ON THE
PRECIPITATION SIDE OF THE FENCE...DRY CONDITIONS EXISTED AT BOTH
LOCATIONS IN APRIL. THE JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE AND THE LONDON CORBIN
AIRPORT FINISHED LAST MONTH OVER AN INCH BELOW NORMAL.
ADDITIONALLY...IT WAS THE 8TH DRIEST APRIL AT JACKSON.

DAILY MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE RECORD LAST MONTH. THE LOWEST TEMPERATURE
FROM APRIL 2012 WAS 30 DEGREES ON THE 12TH...AND SET THE ONLY DAILY
LOW TEMPERATURE RECORD LAST MONTH. ONE DAILY MINIMUM HIGH
TEMPERATURE RECORD WAS SET IN APRIL...WITH 46 DEGREES ON THE 22ND.
