Soaking Rainfall For Many Over the Past Three Days

Most of Eastern Kentucky has received measurable rainfall during the past week and most locations have received at least a half of an inch of rain since Wednesday. Lighter amounts or very little rain has fallen since Wednesday well north of Interstate 64 and in portions of the Upper Cumberland region. Below are images of rainfall between 8 AM EDT Wednesday and 8 AM EDT Saturday. This rain, however, is not enough to end the drought and at this point is helping to keep drought categories from worsening.
