JULY ENDED UP MUCH WARMER THAN NORMAL AT JACKSON AND LONDON. BOTH
THE JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE AND THE LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT FINISHED
LAST MONTH EXACTLY TWO AND A HALF DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. ALSO OF
NOTE...IT WAS THE 2ND WARMEST JULY AT LONDON...AND THE 4TH WARMEST
AT JACKSON. WET CONDITIONS WERE ALSO ON TAP LAST MONTH. JACKSON WAS
NEARLY TWO AND THREE QUARTERS INCHES ABOVE NORMAL...WHILE LONDON WAS
CLOSE TO AN INCH WETTER. IN FACT...JULY 2012 WAS THE SECOND WETTEST
JULY AT JACKSON.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE NEAR JACKSON FINISHED JULY 2012
WITH AN AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 77.9 DEGREES...WHICH IS 2.5 DEGREES
ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 75.4 DEGREES. LAST MONTH WAS THE NINTH MONTH IN
A ROW TO FINISH WITH ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES...AND ALSO THE FOURTH
WARMEST JULY ON RECORD. THE AVERAGE DAILY HIGH WAS 87.8
DEGREES...AND THE AVERAGE DAILY LOW WAS 68.1 DEGREES. THE HIGHEST
TEMPERATURE FOR JULY 2012 WAS 98 DEGREES...WHICH OCCURRED ON THE

LOWEST TEMPERATURE FROM JULY 2012 WAS 63 DEGREES ON THE 29TH. NO LOW
