NORMALS. JACKSON FINISHED SUMMER WITH AN AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 74.7
DEGREES...WHICH IS 0.7 DEGREES ABOVE THE SUMMER NORMAL OF 74.0
DEGREES. AT LONDON...THE JUNE...JULY AND AUGUST AVERAGE ALSO ENDED
UP BEING 74.7 DEGREES...ALTHOUGH THIS WAS 0.1 DEGREE BELOW THE
NORMAL OF 74.8 DEGREES. THE JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE TOTALED 14.05
INCHES OF PRECIPITATION OVER THE LAST THREE MONTHS...WHICH WAS 1.01
INCHES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 13.04 INCHES. THE LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT
ONLY MEASURED 9.66 INCHES...THANKS TO A VERY DRY JUNE. THIS TOTAL
WAS 2.49 INCHES BELOW THE SUMMER NORMAL OF 12.15 INCHES. THIS
SUMMER`S AVERAGES AND TOTALS DIDN`T PLACE IN ANY OF THE TOP TEN
CATEGORIES...ALTHOUGH LONDON`S PRECIPITATION TOTAL WAS THE 14TH
DRIEST SUMMER AMOUNT...AND JACKSON`S AMOUNT WAS THE 13TH WETTEST. ON
THE OTHER HAND...JACKSON AND LONDON DID SET ALL TIME HIGH
TEMPERATURES IN JUNE WITH 104 DEGREE AND 105 DEGREES RESPECTIVELY.
THESE WERE OBVIOUSLY THE HIGHEST SUMMER TEMPERATURE RECORDS AT BOTH
LOCATIONS.
