NOAA Weather Radio Programming Day in London - March 7th

March is Severe Weather Preparedness Month across Kentucky. In an effort to promote weather safety, the National Weather Service in Jackson has teamed up with Kroger, WKYT, the Laurel County Health Department and the London Fire Department to present a NOAA Weather Radio Programming Day.

Where: Kroger, 1805 N Main St, London, KY

Date: Thursday March 7th, 2013

Time: 5 pm - 7 pm EST

NOAA Weather Radio is an "All Hazards" radio network, making it your single source for comprehensive weather and emergency information. During the programming event, bring a NOAA Weather Radio you already have or purchase a new one at the store and we will properly program it for you before you leave.  We will also be handing out severe weather preparedness materials and WKYT Chief Meteorologist Chris Bailey will be doing a live weather broadcast from the event.

We hope to see you there!
