THOUGH FEBRUARY WAS DRY...THIS WAS OFFSET BY THE VERY WET DECEMBER
AND JANUARY...MAKING WINTER WETTER THAN NORMAL. THE JACKSON
WEATHER OFFICE TOTALED 14.03 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION...WHICH IS 2.49
INCHES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 11.54 INCHES. THIS MADE THE WINTER OF
2012-13 THE 8TH WETTEST WINTER AT THE JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE. THE
LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT PICKED UP 12.62 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION DURING
WINTER...WHICH IS 1.13 INCHES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 11.49 INCHES.
JACKSON AND LONDON SAW COOL FEBRUARIES AS WELL...BUT BOTH LOCATIONS
ENDED UP SEEING WINTER WARMER THAN NORMAL...MOSTLY DUE TO AN
ABNORMALLY WARM DECEMBER. THE JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE FINISHED UP
WINTER AT 39.6 DEGREES...WHICH IS 2.4 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF
37.2 DEGREES. JACKSON/S AVERAGE WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO RANK AS THE TENTH
WARMEST WINTER ON RECORD. LONDON ENDED WINTER WITH AN AVERAGE OF
39.3 DEGREES...WHICH IS 1.5 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 37.8
DEGREES. ALSO OF NOTE...JACKSON TALLIED 8.2 INCHES OF SNOW THIS
WINTER...WHICH IS 10.8 INCHES BELOW NORMAL. THE WINTER OF 2012-13
WAS THE FIFTH LEAST SNOWIEST AT THE JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE SINCE

TEMPERATURE SIDE OF THE HOUSE...THE JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE ENDED
FEBRUARY ONE AND A HALF DEGREES BELOW NORMAL...WHILE THE LONDON
CORBIN AIRPORT WAS OVER TWO DEGREES COOLER. ADDITIONALLY...THE
JACKSON WEATHER OFFICE FINISHED LAST MONTH AS THE TENTH COLDEST
FEBRUARY ON RECORD.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE NEAR JACKSON FINISHED FEBRUARY
